    For almost of our tours, once tour is confirmed and fully paid but for one reason they cancel the tour, the following charges will apply in the event of cancellation prior to tour commencement:

    • More than 30 days before arrival: No charge
    • 15-30 days before arrival: 10% of total tour price.
    • 7-15 days before arrival: 50% of total tour price.
    • 4-7 days before arrival: 75% of total tour price.
    • Within 3 days before arrival: 100% tour price.

    Notes:

    • There will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations.
    • For no show cases, there will be no refund.
    • All cancellations must be in person or in writing and received by us
  • Cancellation by Weather

    In case of an unexpected situation/ bad weather causes an effect on your trip after commencement, we serve the right to change the itinerary of your booked tour for the safety of all clients in the group. If there are more than one solution, we will ask for your permission and agreement to do the next step. In such kind of cancellation, the refund of any payment on the un-used portion of transportation service, hotel service, car rental or tours will be given.

Itineraries

Hanoi - Cat Ba island - Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

7:00 – 7:30am: Start pick up from the hotel in the Old Quarter then travel to Got ferry station.
9:45am: Welcome aboard Arcady Cruise, refresh with welcome drink. Start the journey to the sea.
11:15am: Enjoy the typical local Lunch will be served with fresh seafood and Vietnamese cuisines while leisurely cruising to the faraway islands of Ha Long Bay.
12:15pm: Arrive Ong Cam area, situated on the border of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay - south side of Hạ Long Bay, this is the best choice for kayaking (or bamboo boat), photo hunts, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs (with dry bag).
01:15pm: The boat depart for swimming, jumping off the boat, Enjoy swimming in the crystal water.
02:00pm: Enjoy tea break with cookies, tropical fruits, tea and coffee, while the boat cruising through hundreds islands in Lan Ha Bay.
02:30pm: Arrive at Hospital cave, start explore the cave known as a secret bomb proof hospital and safe house for the VC leaders was built inside a cave, high up on one of the many limestone karsts which dominate the island.
03:45pm: Pick up by bus, return Arcady Cruise.
04:30pm: Cooking class. Make Nem (The Vietnamese fresh spring roll).
05:30pm: Disembark in Got pier, get back to the bus for transfer to Ha Noi.
07:30pm: Drop off at the hotel in the Old Quarter. End of service.

    Is it better to book the Aqua Mekong early or can I book on short notice?

    Thanks for your question. One defining advantage of the Aqua Mekong is its small capacity compared with other Mekong River journeys or a river lodge. Thus we recommend our guests book early, especially if your desired travel dates are not flexible. People typically book their Aqua Mekong River Cruise in Vietnam and Cambodia at least 10 to 18 months in advance, however we will always do our best to accommodate your desired cruise dates.

So all the residents of the floating houses and villages should be illegally immigrated Vietnamese, but would be tolerated by the government. As part of our group trip we drove over the Tonle Sap with our Cambodian guide. He explained very well how the region and the people there are. He asked us to bring in the hotel the toothbrushes, combs and soaps that we do not need. In the beginning, it was quickly clear why. So we had something for the children around the temple, some had the impression, they did not even know what a toothbrush is. The poverty there was terrifying. Nevertheless, it was interesting to watch the lifestyle in the stilt house. Hold a fortunately unknown world for us. With the right guide the trip will be interesting and good.
